1. Press the CALL1 button.
2. Lift Handset.
3. Dial 600 & wait for Voice Mail to answer.
4. Enter mailbox 301 upon request from Voice Mail.
5. Enter security code if requested.
6. Press S A to enter System Administrator program.
7. Press I for Instruction message mailbox.
8. Enter Mailbox number 811 for first recording.
· There may be more than one recording. The typical application would be 811 for Daytime recording, 812 for Nighttime and possibly 813 as a directory listing of personnel.
· If more than one company shares the Voice Mail the Recording numbers for the second group might be 821 for Daytime recording, 822 for Nighttime and possibly 823 as a directory listing of personnel.
9. Press L to listen to existing recording.
10. Press # to exit listen mode.
11. Press R to record new message.
12. Press # when finished.
· Helpful hint. If you mess up while recording press # R to redo recording. There is no need to hang up and go all the way back to the beginning.
13. Hang up.
Schedule Override
Instruction messages are played based on a predetermined time schedule. For example 8:00-5:00 Mo-Fr = 811 for Day and after 5:00 Mo-Fr and all day Sa-Su = 812 for night. This schedule can be overridden to compensate for Holidays or other times when the office may be closed during normal business hours. The procedure to override the schedule follows.
1. Access the system administrator mailbox. ( steps 1-6 above)
2. Press SO for Schedule Override.
3. Press O for On/Off
4. Enter message number to play. Example 812 (night message)
